Hey, sweet!

I'd jump on that except I'm not in the market to upgrade from CS3, I'm just hoping the funds can be freed for me to upgrade to LR4 (maybe once it gets stabilized...)!

And so, if I dove into the CS6 Beta, I'd be setting myself up for sadness when the Beta exired...:(!

Those have pretty much been the prices for several versions back. Upgrade price usually runs ~$199.

Just checked the link and I'm stoked - CS6 still supports XP!!

I've never paid full price so this is quite the shock for me. Education discount FTW :D

Education discount is great if you qualify! Upgrades run me ~$169 with my NAPP discount. I'm just glad CS6 is still supporting XP. Otherwise, I was looking at a costly upgrade.

I find it hard to get excited about ps upgrades these days. Some how all they manage to do is add one or two useful features, a dozen useless features and make the whole experence even slower. I found cs5 chugging on an 64bit, 8 core, 24gig machine!

I will give it a go but not going to get my hopes up.

Do you think there will be a massive price drop in CS5 in the weeks before CS6 is released, just as they did for LR3?
