You have pretty darn good artisitc ability, both photography and weathering....Also good hands, thats N scale, pretty darn small....too small ;)

Nice shots and great paint job. That rail box car needs to be tagged out of service and sent back to the shops for a new drop step on the right though.

Thanks! Yes, it is N scale, it get's a bit interesting working with stuff that small. And my kids want to know what Z scale is like (even smaller)

Thanks for looking! Sometimes, when you're buying old stock (the RailBox was some old MDC stock they were selling cheap about a year ago), you don't always get the cream of the crop. ;) If I could find the right color of yellow paint, I'd probably scratch something up to replace that step...

Getting back to photography, I wonder how much different these pics would look with the 100mm macro lens... -?

Nice shots! They look real.

I wonder how much different these pics would look with the 100mm macro lens...

Personally, I think it's fun to use a wide angle up close.
