I have canon 70-200 f2.8IS II+7D. I want to jump in wildlife photography, but cant afford to spend a lot to buy any big lens for another few years..Need to buy a teleconverter..which one should I buy.

You can probably pick up a good used Canon EF 2X II for around $250

I have the same combo + canon mk111 1.4 & 2x
In my opinion the 1.4 focuses well & still has very good IQ - definitely usable
the 2x makes it a lot slower for AF & the IQ is noticably less

I like shooting birds & I don't think the 2x is anywere sharp enough for the job

the 1.4 is worth considering, theres nothing in performance between the mk111 & MK11 which is a lot cheaper

The 1.4 would be my choice. From there, learn and practice skills that get you closer to your intended subject.
