A few recent shots from my local area in Fife, Scotland. Lately I've had an urge to try shooting in black and white as way of a change. Any comments/ tips are more than welcome.
Thanks for looking

Wow, I almost missed these being busy the last few days. Great series, these have some nice contrast. I especially like the lighting in #3.

Thanks to all for the comments and opinions.

Rick

I definitely see where you're coming from as that was my first thought as well but the reflections still entered into the image but without any reference as to where they come from. For that reason I left the whole shore in there.

Interestingly it's the first of the three images that seemed to be by far the favourite on Flickr...

Aside from black and white conversion, what else did you do in post?

Not much, a bit of cropping and level adjustment. All were shot with various combinations of ND filters and a circular polarizer to try and make them "pop" a bit more...

Thanks for the interest
