Hey guys, i know this is a canon forum but i wanted to try a little something different. about three years ago i brought my mamiya c330 to hawaii along with a couple rolls of vilvia 50 and it has been sitting in my drawers ever since. i finally got around to scanning these guys and here are the results, let me know what you think, thanks!

Colors look very nice. You could crop some off the bottom and make nicer compositions.

Thanks obx, I didn't want to crop it, I wanted it to be viewed the way it was taken, or at least as close possible.

Pixil, these are digital scans from medium format film. No sensor involved, =) perhaps dusty scanner?

thanks scorpie_e, i recently swtiched over to film, i still have my digital but i may soon get rid of everything digital and get myself a leica and call it a day. after so many years and 3 bodies later, i'm getting tired of the digital race, having my bodies devalue and get outdated the day i buy them. film bodies will never be outdated and a leica will never lose it's value. upgrading would be a matter of buying different film.

thanks krb, i've been going read that thread of days! too many pages to read, maybe there should be an entire sub forum for film. right now i'm exclusively on the rangefinderforum for film reading.

They're okay for vacation-type, I-was-there documentary snaps, but I'm not seeing much from a photographic standpoint in these. Not sure how much PP you did on these after scanning, but the Mamiya lenses do render colors quite nicely.
