I was walking around with my camera this morning and caught a glimpse of a blue jay landing right infront of these vivid yellow bushes.
I couldnt help myself, so I just kept on shooting away...

** I had really wished that I got the one of him taking off in focus. this was at full 300mm zoom with my EF 75-300mm lens handheld.

- I just really like how the blue and the yellow contrast with each other. Let me know what you think! :)

The blue jays in your area are prettier than the Western Scrub Jays in our area.

I'll be in the Annapolis area most of the time, but should have a day or two in the middle of the week
to get out to other areas if there's any good destinations. Thanks.

I like those shots, the bird looks lost in thought.

Honestly, downtown Annapolis is great for taking photos! Birds, scapes, close ups, anything!

Blackwater Refuge is across the bridge and is good for a few Bald Eagle and Osprey shots.

Yes!

I venture down to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge a few times when I get the chance, Its so nice and desolate down there! If you get the chance, definatley go down there, its passed cambridge. Not hard to get to at all. And If you really have time, keep going pass Blackwater Refuge, and go down to Hoopersville, MD.
