This probably has been asked many times before, so at the risk of making somebody mad -here I go. What is the "best" free photo hosting site? and what is the "best-for-the buck" pay photo hosting site. I am getting tired of just "attaching" photos here, and probably would like to share some of my photos with other friends and family as well.
I am not in the business (not yet anyway) but my photos seem to be rather large. I shoot with a 7D, and the lowest in size I normally go is Medium JPEG.
Some advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

I use flicker and facebook but really like what I see at smughug. I'm developing a website but if I wasn't I might consider something like smughug pro.

Facebook is great, free, and maximizes networking through tagging. I have had a SmugMug account for 7 years for private galleries, client downloads, and print fulfillment.

"Best" and "free" are mutually exclusive.

If you want to be treated as a professional, then buy your hosting.

Is it not possible to have a "best free" and a "best paid" ??

I think facebook will be a great way for sharing of pictures taken by you. I shared them on Facebook with some updation in visibility of pictures. Only my friends can see these pictures. I suggest you to give an effort to this social networking site.
