You will find a few test images on Page 8 on the G1x User Images thread. A few of us don,t like the camera HDR function, the vivid setting makes a bit of a mess, natural setting is OK but not brilliant, the sepia tone setting is probably the best of a bad job. Canon 5D mk3, 50mm 1.4, 17-40L, 70-200L, 100-400L, Canon 100L macro, Canon 2 x G1X, Speedliite 430 EX all supported by Gitzo and Benro.

More info | Coming from Photomatix Pro, I find the in-cam HDR a bit of a joke, I've tried it but the DR is nowhere near what I look for. OK in a pinch I guess. In-camera feature is not that bad. I've found some samples on the web that were real bad to impressive from the G1X. There have been some really nice examples of the HRD mode in the new 5DMIII. _______________
