None to post yet, but I will say it takes some playing around. Metering in the right area obviously has a big effect. Definitely see potential for some fun.

Downloaded DPP 3.11.10. I belive the HDR-function in DPP is the same as in the camera. Looks nice. Seems like every change from the raw file moving over to the HDR-file.
Using my laptop screen, so tell me if the image is too dark. From 5Dc.

IMO the in camera HDR JPEGs that the MkIII create aren't all that great, but it's better than nothing. Here's one I took on the first day I had mine. This was out at the Marin Headlands. This is the JPEG straight out of the camera (albeit downsized)

A few examples - the first is the in-camera HDR - Natural Setting, the second is the same 3 jpegs processed in Photomatix using default enhancer settings.

IMAGE: http://shazza53.smugmug.com/Other/5DM3incameraHDR/i-qFNRn23/0/L/photomatixhdr-10-L.jpg

The in-camera version is almost identical to the middle exposure - bringing out little detail in the shadows or clouds.

Not a great example, but you can see the in-camera HDR does not do much with the interior/shadow area. Going to Art Standard brings out more of the shadow area, but begins to give a very unnatural look to the photo. Note - the photomatix version would be further processed to make it more natural, just thought it would be more helpful to show the default version.

With higher dynamic range scenes, the in-camera HDR does little to "blend" the images - something like True HDR on the iPhone seems to do a much better job. In most cases, I've found the HDR image is not much different from the 0EV exposure unless you step up the scale HDR processing scale to the more extreme settings which look quite unnatural.

Not impressed by results with in-camera HDR. Maybe it's just me, but HDR generated from same raw files used in-camera to come up with HDR image used with Photomatix are MUCH better. The concept of in-camera HDR is appealing, but maybe I need to spend more time figuring out the settings. On the other hand, Photomatix always does a good job for me, so why bother?
