I guess old age is creeping in, I thought I'd piped up about these already, but I see not. Maybe in my mind ;) . I know you like these guys almost as much as redpolls, Harvey, so I'm glad they showed up for your magnificent work!

Thanks a lot, Ian. I won't comment on 'old age' as in less than a month I will turn 70. I wish I had known I would live this long. I'd have taken much better care of myself.

Seems like forever since I've had a local Purple Finch Harv; I'm glad at least someone found one!
Love the snaky perch you've got him on, and the way it dips OOF in the 2nd image. And the lighting in the 2nd image gives such a neat catchlight. Bring us some more!
