From last Winter when this very unusual Redpoll showed up for a short time...drew a lot of attention. Its supposedly a Southern Hoary Redpoll with leucism. I thought it was a Leucistic Common redpoll myself but now I am not so sure. Anyway it was a treat and to see and photograph

Absolutely adorable Gary!
Super find and equally super captures. The first 2 images really show this little bird in find light and detail. I know you must have been ecstatic w/these wonderful images.

Great shots of a very unusual bird, Gary. We had redpolls at our feeder all winter, but n'ary a hoary.

One of the lightest Hoary Redpolls I have seen Gary... usually the Hoary has a small bill, slight upper flanking streaks, pure white under tail coverts and a frosted back, but this little guy has no gradients of any kind... what an unique find and capture... lovely shots.

Cool find. Isn't nature grand. You can see a hoary in the background in the last image. Like #1 and #2. #2 would really pop with a little catch light. Great captures. Thanks for showing.

That's an excellent result spotting that Gary, all the more so with the quality of the shots you got.
