Iphone App Question

Hi, As I no zilch about Iphones or the Apps for them can someone please tell me if the Apps only work with the iPhones. I have DL'd the App to calculate shutter speed when using ND filters and don't really want to spend £/$ on an iPhone just to use the App.

I'm sorry, what app are you talking about? If you access the app store using your phone you should be ok in that it will work with the IPhone.

Hi, Sorry maybe mislead you on this. I donot have an Iphone and really don't want to spend the kind of money they cost, what I am looking for is another phone that you can use Iphone apps on. The app is the one for calculating exposure when you use a 10 stop filter for example.

Iphone apps only work on iphones due to the iOS..... to run them you'd need some sort of emulator, and I doubt any other phone on the market is powerful enough to emulate iOS.

Just get a chart from the internet and print it out or bookmark the site on your current phone.

You can always get the latest iPod touch for most these iOS apps. Refurb'd the 8gb is ~$170 from apple.

Ah...got it. Sorry for my confusion. IPad will run many of them, but they scale funny. IPod touch is your best bet.
