I can't make up my mind, I love new camera bodies.

What body combo (or not) would you want?

You can vote in the poll.

1Dx - looks to be amazing
1Div - amazing except low light AF performance, which I do want better
5Diii - amazing except I am addicted to the 1D line now :-(

I like having two bodies so I don't need to swap lenses nearly as much, but I don't like having two bodies because I need more bags/bag space and it makes me have to decide which to use (sort of like prime vs zoom)....

I love full frame but I realize it doesn't make or break my photographs. I'd use the 5Diii way more than the 1Div like I did with my 5Dii, probably even more since it's improved. I'd still use the 1D for racing and stuff like that....

The options I can make are in the poll, please vote!

sure, all the latest models are "amazing" but you have lots of nice camera gear,
one option not mentioned could be 5) enjoy what you currently have

5DIII plus grip. I've been reading through the 5DIII "main" thread, and it appears to be an amazingly good camera. A grip will bring it closer to the 1D series cameras in "feel".

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

this is easy, you're addicted to the 1D line, 1DX is the body you should buy.

you could do what i did. Be a dumb @ss and drop your beloved mkiv. Turns out insurance will cover it so I just pre-ordered the 1dx. I really wanted to want to get the 5d mkiii, but I love the 1 series body so much. So after I get reimbursed for my mkiv, use mr. rebates to get about 200 off of the purchase it will end up costing me only about 1300 out of pocket. The most frustrating part is I won't have a body until it comes in and who knows when that will be.

If I were you I would hold tight with the mkiv, it is such a great camera. Wait until the 1dx comes out, I bet there will be a couple who decide to sell their mkiii's to get the 1dx. pick those up for a couple hundred less and call it a day. I think if my mkiv wasn't in pieces I would just pick up the mkiii.
