The beta of PS CS6 is on the market for anyone to test drive.

Here is a quick test video I made just to see how it handled. (external link)

I actually found it really easy to use.
It is kind of limited feature wise but, what are you going to expect from a mostly photo based program?

What you really benefit in from when working with video in Photoshop is a really slick workflow. The video is treated like a static image essentially.
You have your layers panel (just like usual), adjustments, filters, and all the shortcuts/keystrokes you would normally have just editing a picture.

It's pretty awesome. You don't have to go essentially re-learn a language to edit video of fairly high quality effectively and efficiently.

hmmmmm seems like this could be helpful when creating color grades, however I dont know if I could ever let myself use photoshop over final cut to edit video :) very interesting though.

Exactly.
That's mostly what I see it and will use it as.

Though, nothing beats Adobe AE/PP and or FC.
