My regular small bird haunt is frequented by many others who put out wild bird seed. This affords great opportunity for close up bird photography:

but... the seed on the fence post sort of spoils the picture. I've tried photographing the birds in the trees as they "queue up" for the table, but it is very hit & miss, plus the background is too messy.
So, I had an idea - get a section of tree and place it on the fence post...
