I used my 100 2.8L Macro lens...focused on the blossoms and shot it at a whole bunch of different apertures because I was not sure which I would like best, and at f22 I liked it the best because the background was blurred but you could still see what it is...I had another picture with the background sharp and the blossoms blurred but this one I liked the best.

It was my second time ever going there to see them and I have lived here forever also. I worked in DC for a few years and made the mistake of driving through there during cherry blossom festival. Stuck in traffic for ages! LOL
