I am by no means claiming to be good at it. However, while in Florida last week, I found a new love for photographing birds. Hopefully with some practice, and some better equipment. I'll be able to get a bit better at this.

There might still be time to run jm rather than face your new affliction - :)
Welcome to bird photography and I see you're off to a pretty nice start.
The Snowy Egret on the fence is pretty interesting, but I love the Osprey image peeking out of the nest. I think Melody hit the nail on the head!
We'd love to entertain more from you as time &/or money allows.

Actually I think he has had too much. He looks like Doc Brown after 10 cups and a speedball.:)

@JMS - They are a great start and it only gets more addicting from here. I know how it bit me hard, and I am still looking for way of affording bigger glass.

Thank you for the complements. I added a link to some of my other bird photos up top. I'm still sorting and editing. I just got back from my trip yesterday. So there will be more to come. Thanks again.

Poor guy, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into. Nice start, too.

Looks like you are well on your way to becoming very good. The osprey and GBH are great shots.

Super start to bird photography. It has been said before, but that Osprey peeking out of the nest is great. Keep them coming as you can!

Great shots. I'd say you're ahead of the average curve.
