On a different thread, (HERE) I posted a previous version of this shot in it's native aspect ratio and a cropped version. There were some perspective issues that led me to reworking the entire shot. I felt the rework changed the image enough to merit a new thread which is what this is.
First, I stayed with the color and did all my adjustments there, and converted to Sepia on last step.
I made several tweaks, most of them to try to draw attention to the center of the frame. I straightened the horizontals and verticals as best as could be done and still maintain a realistic perspective. I slightly desaturated the perimeter objects (building and tree) and slightly bumped the saturation on the church. I also slightly sharpened the church and blurred the perimeter. (In the minified version here, that might not be evident.)
To start with, here is the color version:
Finally, since the whole thing came about by wanting to print some sepia shots, I did a sepia conversion of the new starting point.
Now what do you think?
And since the original concern of the other threadwas "which crop", for the time being I left these uncropped - available for editing. See, I have begun to feel that the horizontal flow of the river dictates the shape of the frame more than the verticle lines of the church. My hope is that my tweaks will outweigh the concerns against the uncropped version that were brought up in the prior thread. I am still open to a cropped version, but at this point, I am having a hard time seeing a better crop than this. Fresh eyes and all, if anyone would like to try a crop with these, please do.

For reference, here is the "out of camera" version:
