RF 603 trans/reciever compatibility?

if i have the rf 603 s that are for a T1i will they work on a 5Dmkii? or is it the 603 are just specific to camera bodies for the remote shutter to work?

I went through this....They will work as a flash transceivers but the cable that you connect to the camera to use it as a receiver for the remote trigger function is different. You will need to find the one for the 5DII to make the proper connection. Make sense?

yes thanks. im not to worried about the remote working. i didnt want to have to buy new trans/rec s.

You want the Yongnou RF-603 with C3 cable:

The C1 cable is for rebels and such and won't work for the 5d MKII
