Just got back from a trip to Europe, ostensibly to attend a meeting in Cannes. In reality, I spent a heck of a lot of time in airports, on a train, on a bus, in a taxi, or in a hotel.

Didn't let that stop me from taking photographs, though.

Nice job making the most of airport time - good shots. I have a fair bit of that myself, can feel the moods captured there. Do you get hassles, odd looks, questions, or uniformed people talking to you when you pull out your camera in the airport? DSLR or compact?

Thanks.

No hassles at all. Most of the airport shots were taken with my X100, which is a pretty inconspicuous camera. The pilot shot was taken with a 5D2 + 85L (which is most certainly not inconspicuous!); I was getting ready to board my flight and I noticed him behind me. So I quickly got the camera out of my Billingham and shot it.
