what is the best price available for a d30 these days?

Check out www.canogacamera.com then contact Greg Noble and he'll give you the best price and package. They are honest. There may be advertised lower prices from a few sites, but you may never ever get the camera..I mean it.
I went for the D30 with the battery grip etc as you'll see on Canoga's site...the battery grip holds two batteries and you can shoot till you drop as long as you get a high MB card...the 16MB card Canon gives you isn't worth the effort to haul it around unless you use it for "custom white balance photos"

The best price I found so far is about $1500. I also found D30 + 1GB microdrive + extra battery for $2000 (shipped from New York, I belive)...
