Hi there,

I decided to bite the bullet and have a crack at shooting a car on location. After what seemed like HOURS of research and studying, I went for it.
I found that being on location with the car, I learned a lot more. I know there is a lot more that I can do, but Im pretty pleased with how they turned out.

I shot some in natural light as the sun was setting with my Canon 60d and I used various lenses, including my (dare I say it) Kit Lens - 18-55mm and also my Canon 85mm 1.8.
For some of the shots, I decided to have a go at the lighting of the car using my speedlights...that was a challenge to say the least, but I think I did ok.

The biggest error I made was that I only took 2 speedlights and really I coulda done with a third (Left it at home)

Anyway - here goes....

thanks,

Don

cheers photosguy - I did actually try it, but I felt that it looked odd with the rest of the fence continuing on the other side, if that makes sense. thanks for the tips, i have been lurking in this section of POTN for ages, so have read them a lot!

We were all commenting because the Supra's Inline 6 (not V6) is the 2JZ-GTE. It is a legendary motor and has been very successful at making large amounts of power.
