First one is kind of plain maybe could use a person subject somewhere.
The second might have been better vertical to get the top of the building in the frame and might need some contrast adjustment.

Thanks. Yeah, for the first one, the idea for the photo is to take a photo of what a kid would see as he walked through the gate to the amusement area. Didn't come out as I had hoped, maybe because the merry-go-round is too far from the gate.
For the 2nd one, if I were to make it vertical, there still would've been some tops cut off, but not as much. I have a vertical one somewhere.
