I just took the plunge and found a steal on a low shutter count 1D MKiv ! I can't wait to get this thing. I know when many people go from a XXD body to a 7D there is a "learning curve" with the auto-focus. Can anyone who has made this transition tell me what to expect? Any thoughts on what type of learning curve if any there is going from a 7D to MKIV?

I am basically an amateur enthusiast who went from a 7D to a 1D MKiv and there was very little learning curve. The focus methods are a little easier to change on the 7D, but you can set up custom function focus options in "my menu" to speed things up. You will definitely miss the "Q" button. I absolutely love my MKIV, but still use the 7D. Enjoy!!!
