Nice stuff

Thanks Peter!

really like 3, 6 and 8. Shame that 'limbs are more easily detached than props' sign is on that Texan but still a nice pic

I could probably copy / flip / paste the near prop tip but that's too much work for a simple snapshot.

I had no idea there were Garret-powered Caravans. I've been trying to figure out what type of plane that was in another thread as the nose didn't look like a Caravan but everything else did. Very nicely done!

Thanks... It's a beast. Easily the tallest airplane I've been near that didn't either require a jetway or have USAF painted on it. Hoping to catch it on the water eventually.

Maybe a dumb question, but....how did you capture the full prop arc using a flash?

Didn't...

The full disc shot was by ambient light only. ;)

That Howard 500 has got to be one of the most beef-cakes airplane ever. What a machine!

More of a head on look...

And a profile...

Until the advent of reliable, "cost effective" private jet travel, the Howard was the fastest thing in the skies able to motor along at nearly 350mph!

Jay,

Beautiful set, as usual. You do get me to "pause" when I view all of your threads.

A question: do you ever see working Ford Tri-motor planes (the Tin Goose) and if "yes", do you have a nice photos of them?

If your kidney was worth $500,00 you'd be in business!
