Just like shooting in live view. Sorry i was being retarded. The light directed from the semi transparent mirror is used for AF. Have no idea how i mixed them up.

Sony has realized there is no competing with Nikon and Canon in the traditional DSLR market so they are trying something different. If the EVF helps increase performance in other areas enough, many photographers may be able to look past the few shortcomings. Taylor
