As always, not the most ideal conditions (lighting, shooting through the net, limited shooting room, busy background, amateur players, etc...) but at least I had fun. :D

No.3 for me.

Pity the background is so busy but that's what happens at local level tournaments.

What aperture did you use for those shots on the short lens? Depth of field seems quite long.

I see you changed equipment!

They were all between 1.6-2.0. Other than the 1DIV from 5DII, I didn't change much gear.. :D

When you started, you had some baddy pictures but you are improving a lot. These shots are fun and enjoyable to look at. Good.

Next time, keep working to shoot tighter. Your best images have excellent facial expressions. Your gallery of images should include some full body shots but don't be afraid of shooting really tight where you see your subject from the waist up and then crop even tighter in post processing (1, 4, and 5 are cropped too loose). Yes, those shots are tougher to get but once you get that mastered, your shots will be as good as anybody in any sport.

Again, congratulations on how much you've improved.

Phil

Thank you so much for taking time to leave me a length note. Your advice is very well noted and will take deep consideration for future shoots and post processings. :D
