Do you have a prefrance as to strap and fastening system. I am not referring to a sling system, just your typical one which can hang around neck.

Looks like the Pro Strap would be comfortable, as for fastening systems there are two choices
1) Pro Loop
2) 3/8

Pro Loop is the best way to start out in the Op/Tech system IMO. Get the POTN one! LINK (external link)

I also like the OpTech Adapt-Its with the OpTech carabiner hooks. Take a look at them under Optech Systems at B&H.

Yep, what I use now is my Op/Tech neck strap with these (external link) and these (external link).

I opted for this for my camera's, it allows interchangeability of strap, depending on camera being used. Additionally, it a short lenghth on camera, so when you want to use tripod or store away in case its not combersome with a long strap.

Also a xtra large extension strap, this allows you to carry on sholder and strap across chess and hang at waist.

I 'll give this a go, and see if I fill comfortable with all aspects of the set up, I can always move to
caribiner & swivel hooks.

I seen the caribiner & swivel hooks, but wasn't sure if it would rub on body damaging it, because of the metal connectors. What has been your experience.
