First Timer Watch photography

For my unit at college ive got to do a product shot and decided to shoot my watch, decided to use a green gel on the ligh to give it a different look t the norm. Would love to know what you think

green doesn't work, try red on a pure black background, the fact that it's not new and has scratches doesn't help.

I would second that..^

Edit out the scratches.

CLEAN your watch if that was also DUST!

Reshoot on a white background. I think your dial will look better against a white BG.

other than the fact that the current location of the hands is covering the wording on the watch, which, if it was a product shot would be helpful to see.

Yes, but the whole point of 10:10 is to frame the company logo, which is not placed traditionally on this watch.
