Hi!

I'm thinking of getting a new camera bag and based on my research I've came down to two models listed in the title.

I would like to put all the gear from my sig into it (55-250 might get replaced with 70-200 2.8 down the road).
On some occasions I might bring another 550D with me.

Can I get the 70-200 in to the 3n1 20 or not?

Can you recommend me any other bag big enough for my needs?

No....go with 3n1 30 if you want to store your 70-200 mounted on camera body.

3n1-30 is humongous. 70-200 will fit mounted if placed sideways.

I would recommend 3n1-25 PL, awesome bag.

Thank you both for input. I did consider the 3n1 30 but it just seems a bit too big for everyday use. It's also more expensive. Do you think that a 70-200 would fit in to the 20 when is not mounted and hood reversed?

I second Andrew_WOT's recommendation of the 3n1-25 PL. Best size slotted in-between the -30 & -20.

If you can get the 3n1-20 (the exact bag that I'm still using now) at a great bargain, yes, you can fit a 70-200 unmounted with hood reversed inside the bag.

I am about to buy a new bag and Kata is the brand I am going after. I did a lot of research and want to add my 2 cents. I am buying a bag I can use as carry on. While even the larger PL35 is said to be airline compatible but it might not be depending on some airlines. Kata rates them compatible based on FAA regulations and some airlines have smaller overhead bins on the planes.

Examples from my research Delta & Continental allow 22x14x9 inches and PL35 is 10.63" inches at the smallest dimension. PL25 is 10.2" and will not fit either. 3N1-33 is 9.3" which might fit if you squeeze the bag a little bit.

I want to guest blog on your Landscape / Travel photography blog, PM for details

That's what I wanted to hear. Now I'm pretty sure I'll get it.
