I shot all of the pics raw and did not apply shrpening, I showed the focus points and adjusted to 100%.
I dont see anything in sharp focus. Im going to soot some more tomorrow and see what I come up with.

Some of what you posted was definitely in sharp focus, so perhaps you're just not looking in the right place.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Greg.siam "What is a number one raw file?"

Not referring to the "first", #1 vs. #2 but just stating that RAW files need to have sharpening applied and this is an important step.

Convert the RAW file to .jpg and upload.

This, but don't "save for the web"... in many softtwares that strips off EXIF data. Just use "save" or "save as", to keep EXIF intact.

This...

But be careful you don't "save for the web" when you make the JPG... in many softtwares that strips off EXIF data. Just use "save" or "save as", to keep EXIF intact.

One thing is also to accept that AF can be within tolerance, but still not there where you thought it would be. If I remember correctly, AF is good enough if it hits within 1/3 of the DOF for setup used. Meaning that if DOF is 3 cm, for the focal length /aperture used, it's ok if AF hits at 2cm (0 being "beginning" of DOF, 3 being the "end" of DOF area). This would mean that the image just might not be that 100% sharp that you were looking for.

At this point: please correct me if I've understood it wrong! :) At least my terminology sucks..

And yes, remember to apply sharpening. AA-filters in your camera makes images looking soft, you need to PP them to get the sharpness.
