Sometimes when you're sitting in the blind the light and the shadows can play tricks on your eyes........and sometimes there is a Hermit Thrush there!

Not the best image of the 3, but I love the look it's giving.

I'm very happy to have added this one to my photo Life List before it left for Spring/Summer. It has been a worthy adversary, winning 2/3 rounds the last 3 mornings. Thanks as always for having a look and I'll gladly entertain comments and critiques.

Congratulations on capturing him, Steve. And what fine captures they are! That blind of yours is really working well, isn't it? :) My pick of the three would be #2 as I think it's the more balanced image. Good work!

Thanks as always Levina to you and your critical eye. #2 is more balanced, and yes, I'm really enjoying the birds that I'm getting from my blind.

Much appreciated gabby. I've actually known there was one around for months. That's how long it took to figure out it's schedule - :)

We love it when a plan comes together don't we Andrew! As I said, glad it's in the "bag" now.

Very cool, Steve! We hear these guys all the time, but I've never managed to get eyes on them.

Congrats to you Steve! Your patience has been rewarded with these beautiful Hermit Trush images. They are VERY shy in my area and they ALWAYs make there's a twig, branch, or even trunk in between me and them. GS#$%&C!X

That's funny Eric as I'm not sure I'd know the song, but I've seen this one around a lot. Thanks for checking them out

And here it was up on my deck this evening Fee. Maybe I've got a tame one - :). And BTW, I use the same words you did for the Towhees!

Many thanks Mr. Craig. I've enjoyed the time and the decent results I'm getting from "the blind".

You're very kind Joe and I agree, it is a very handsome bird.

Very nice compliments Mark; Thank you. I also felt that #3 had the best focus, lighting, and overall "airiness" to it.
