I walked over there today since I didn't have to work today.

This is my first foray into full manual. I shot RAW but did a quick conversion to JPEG. These all but I think one or two are SOOC.

Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Here is another angle of the last picture, and a wider one.

Picture #3 was odd considering that where it was located in the museum that picture looks over exposed to me LOL but I see what you mean Rick.

Thank you guys for the compliments!

Pretty cool. I wish I had something like that even remotely close to me.

So do I, but thanks OP for showing something we would not normally have an opportunity to see. The pictures are nicely done.

Yup, that's the best thing about this site. Seeing pictures of places I'll probably never go.

The nice thing I'm going to go back on Wednesday to try my hand at it again. I have many more pictures but I want to go back fresh.

And according to Facebook I walked from Garland, TX to Pensacola, FL today.

Definitely over exposed but it was so dark in that corner I had to. I took about 5 pictures all with different exposures and this one worked the best. Again SOOC.

And these should help show the different lighting in there is. It made it very difficult for my first time going full Manual.

The newest area Hanger Bay One is more evenly lit.

Awesome. That first bi-plane is cool. I like how its cut out to show the inner workings of everything.

I though so too. If you look at the second to last picture there with that huge plane. the Bi-plane is back in the corner behind it. In the first picture of the Bi-plane you can actually see part of the tail in the top right corner.

glad they moved the hoover (S3) as it was next to the tomcat, and made it a nightmare to shoot!
