sounds good

Mark IV maybe thats my proplem
what do you use in PP

I use Aperture and Lightroom 3, mostly Aperture. Mark IV is nice, opens up a lot of possibilities, but someone could just as easily take a mediocre picture with it as a great one. 5D Mark III is in my future though so that should be fun.

With sports shots, not too much. With daytime shots like these, there's no need for any noise reduction, so that takes one step out of the process. I usually just crop if needed, sharpen a bit and that's it. Sometimes I might add a tiny bit of saturation to help the colors out but not always.

Being that I am a very keen golfer and once a single figure handicapper, I love to see shots of people when they are about to strike the ball, either from the tee or from the fairway to green.

Unfortunately most of your shots, you cannot see their lower half.

The shots are great though! (I'm a noob, so dont take photography advise from me, just my view on it). There is just no aggression in these photos for me, tee shots you see aggression in the golfers face, golf shots at slow speed do nothing for me...

I'm not as think as you confused I am..

Sruuk1 Since you are a "keen golfer" and "once a single figure handicapper", I'm thinking that you might not want a camera going off in your backswing under tournament conditions as in these pictures. Im guessing you would have some college coaches visiting you very quickly.

Yeah, you're not going to get those kind of shots unless you're using something like a 600mm lens or thereabouts and can be far enough away to not distract the swing. One click during the backswing and you would be asked to leave.

I bring my camera to golf practice and take pictures of my kids...tell golf digest called and wants some pictures for the cover:-) mostly so they don't freak out when they see me with my camera when we have a meet. Also as a distraction so they have to work on focusing. I do a slide show at the end of the season on a 20 ft screen for them...i get a huge kick out of their reactions. I love to take pictures, just need to get a lot better. Love looking at your stuff el Rey.
