Scissors and glue should do it ;)

Then use a fine black pencil to sketch the outline for sharpness, scan the finished article and post it ... that would be a real PP retro-breakthrough.

OK , I'll do it for tomorrow, I'll do it....just please stop "post processing" yourself, the thought of you doing it while in dress makes me kinda uncomfortable even over here, accross the Atlantic.

Wait a minute, who said you were sitting at the keyboard all dressed ??:D

Thanx Dennis.

Also, some people have suggested that the sky/background was blown out, kinda inadequate. So, following the lead of landscape and kindred photo artists, I have jazzed up the background with some rather elementary PP techniques.

Please tell me what you think, but please be gentle for I am just a PP beginner..

I like, a little surrealistic touch but very artistic.

I think that may be the rare Pacific Collage Waxwing. A minnow eater I believe. Very well done Peter, I don't see any glue!;)

Thanx Paul....Condyk should be given some credit too.

Blue......thanx.....you have alreaday demostrated your PP supremacy in "Dinner on Saturn".

Gary....Condyk made me use the bird cutout:(
However, two camera bodies and no less than three fine lenses were used in the creation of this masterpiece: EF-S 10-22, 300 f4 and 35 f2.0. :D

All elements work perfectly together. With a little imagination, pen, scissors, glue and a cheap scanner we can all become PP masters. The birds looks perfectly at home in its new environment. It has genius qualities ...

A+ for hilarity :D

Thanx Dave.
BTW, no cheap scanners used.....the collage was simply re-photographed with 35mm f2.0.:D Pay attention class, we did say we used " three fine lenses" to create the composite image.
