I get that it's old. I get that the 5D3 is better at high ISO, AF, etc., but I just saw a sale on CL for the 5D at $500.
That's insane to me.

People seem to still be asking $800-$1000 for the 5dc where I am, but I don't see them selling much over the $800 range.

It was in mint condition, no scratches, 13k clicks, original box, etc. Probably could have got another $25 or so, but I think it was fair price for both parties. I've seen them going regularly for about $900-950 including a grip. My Online Gallery: http://fotoluigi.zenfolio.com/

Mar 27, 2012 18:26 | #7 I have to admit, it would be tempting to be able to use my 85L on the 5D3 and be able to shoot with no light whatsoever, but the 5D2 is still an awesome camera and the 7D suffices when I need the AF. I am not slighting the 5D3 in the least. From the sounds of it, it sounds like it's worth every penny of the $3500, but that's a whole lot of glass that you can buy with the $3000 difference between a 5Dc and 5D3. 85L/35L and a 70-200 f/4. Lots o' glass. Name is Peter and here is my gear:
