Any idea what the green light could be? I don't want to get my hopes up! :(

Looks like northern lights to me. Seems you are in a spot where you should be able to see them on a nice night.

Yeah that's aurora with a fairly long exposure. Nice shot.

Here in the north, even if there are no northern lights visible, it is sometimes worth if to take a fairly long exposure of the sky anyways, because your camera can pick up a hell of a lot more over that period of time than our eyes can.
