Great Crested Flycatcher

Every year about this time I see the Great Crested Flycatchers in my yard. In the past, my attempts to photograph them were disappointing at best, but I hope to be more successful this year.

Looks to me as though you met w/a great deal of success Ira!
I'm assuming the 2nd is a crop of the first, but that one is a splendid capture. I love the colors in both the bird and the background. Nice work!

Hi Ira. Your first pic is just beautiful. You do some nice work, I'd just back off a bit on the cropping. Leaving a little room for your subject to move around enhances the photo.
