From the write up this Dauntless is the last surviving plane from the Battle of Midway. (Not the Bathrooms LOL)

This shot makes the plane look like it has a face.

Until April 5 then I'm flying to San Angelo, TX for another school until July. Then back to San Diego to finish moving and then I'm moving back to Hawaii...Again...

Need to watch your backgrounds (unless you meant to make an editorial comment regarding the SBD Dauntless...) ;)

I know. It's in a weird location. It has offices and the bathrooms on either side of it. I have a few other shots I was planning on posting up of the Dauntless. I just liked that angle better than from the other side. I just figured it's bound to happen in a museum.

I just liked that angle better than from the other side. Because the other side had the most direct light coming in, and I was having trouble balancing out the background.

I just figured it's bound to happen in a museum.

Beast of an aircraft, and one i'm rather partial too ;)

Looks like they got a Marine one in the background too, which wasn't there when I visited last June!

Looks like they have shifted stuff around, as she was cramped in her previous position (to the left of the door you enter on, next to the S-3 Hoover (Navy One))

Will post some of mine when I get my server online again (Southbridge fan died at the weekend :()
