I'm glad that I'm the first of the bunch to post one of the GCPS 11/05 pics. Otherwise we'd all be looking at some Elk Smootching pictures.
Edit: Dang It! Sheldon beat me by 3 minutes and he posted some of that smootching stuff! Well, I tried to spare you all...
What the heck is GCPS? Well every so often a bunch of us get together in Montreal for the Great Canadian Photo Shoot. I think this was the 5th time, but I'm not so sure any more. On this trip IanD and SSim hosted Cyberdynesystems and I (we missed ya Leo!) for some great photography, laughs, food, and hospitality. We hunted down some deer at Rigaud and then headed to Omega Parc in Montebello, QC. Omega is a "drive-through safari" and hosts a number of animals - the "safe" ones roam freely around while the carnivores are kept in large, natural areas surrounded by low fences. It makes for some great shooting.
I'm sure you'll see some Elk Smootching and Deer hugging sooner or later. I know you're all waiting for that.
Enough explanation!
Here's a pic of an Arctic Wolf from Omega:
I'm pretty sure I'll have some more wolf shots to post over the next few days.
