I know the pocket wizard module on the sekonic light meter will work with the older Plus II, but I'm not sure if it'll work on the new TT5 and TT1. I want to know before I buy the PW chip.

Isnt that the reason why I would want to light meter it in the first place? If it was on ettl, then I wouldn't even need to meter because the camera would adjust the flash output for me. So in other words, what is the difference between Rt-32 vs RT-32CTL?

At least, I havent figured a way to maintain controltl and use the meter to fire triggers. It's a nuisance if you're controlling output with an ac3 as it only works on controltl channels. 5D Mark II, 35L, 24 TS-E, 50 1.8

Nope if usung FlexTT5. 580ex is still in eTTL mode even though power is controlled manually by AC3. Fuji XT-1, 18-55mm

So in other words, what is the difference between Rt-32 vs RT-32CTL? I thought you uisng AC3, FlexTT5 etc. Learn how they work. When AC3 in manual mode, your flash is still in eTTL mode except you can manually control power of the flash through that little wheel on your AC3. You can't trigger your flash (connected to FlexTT5) when using RT32 module on your PW. Fuji XT-1, 18-55mm
