After several days with heavy rain and overcast, it finally cleared up.
Enough time to capture some aurora shots until the clouds moved in quickly.
The aurora season is moving quickly towards the end. Maybe 1,5 week more until it's to bright at night.

That is truly a breathtaking picture. It's amazing on so many different levels. Very well done!

Thank you Seth,
I really got wet for this shot!
First when I jumped over the river.
I didn't land in the river but went through the snow and down in the river on landing :(
It looked like solid ground but I was wrong...So my left boot got filled with icy water.
Next was when I was looking at the result from my friends 5DmkIII
Also through the snow and down into the icy water....
So now my right foot got wet :D
Luckily the temperature was nice at 35F

WOW. Stunning! Amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing your work! You are indeed fortunate to have such a wonderful canvas with which to work! I assume that the river/stream was thawed at least partially and the blurring as it moves throughout the time exposure adds that dreamy, surreal effect! I'll say it again... AMAZING!

I think that's one of the most beautiful images I've ever seen in this forum. You have a great talent.

The problem with seeing this all the time is that I get blind and can't find any interesting places to go. But that is the same all over the world I guess.
Yes the river had thawed a lot. The worst is what you don't see :)
