after some discussion here and there, I decided to get me a 60d. Probably under the CLP.

The 60D uses the ef-s lens right?

and anyone want to buy an Epiphone guitar or a muncie 4 speed lol

It can use the EF-S lenses yes, but it doesn't have to. And I already have an epiphone...

Thats funny! I just sold a Warrior custom made guitar so I could buy a 24-105 f/4L and a 100-400 L lens. After Paypal and Ebay fees I still have to throw in a few hundred though.

I have a good friend who has a great eye for photographs. He just purchased a 60D around two months ago and is extremely happy with it.

DONT GET A 60d!
they are plastic toys that should only be used by children running around a birthday party.
their cheap gimmicky flip screens will bust off the first time you touch them,
the SD card is a massively inferior system to CF cards.
they do not have MFA so every picture out of them will be soft.
Their button layout is far inferior to that of the prior xxd cameras

I think that is all the complaints I hear from people that have never actually owned or used one.
In all honesty I like mine very much and would recommend one to anyone. All of the myths up top are BS and are perpetuated by people that are saying what they read somewhere else.

LOL You know how to predict the responses of the forum members. haha

I would recommend the 60D too BUT would never sell my 7D for one. The 60D is a much better camera than the Rebel series. It's a good camera for a decent price. The buttons DO kinda suck though.

bw!

I also added the Winky emoticon to indicate sarcasm.... But I agree. Those are the most often parroted, and totally invalid, comments.

To Torkk: Good choice. Great camera with excellent controls.

WHAT!!!... Nobody is going to recommend to buy an 8-year old paragon of Full Frame goodness? You know, a 2MegaPixel wonder with great, big, sweet, buxom pixels with big cleavage??

Which make your photos glow with an inner light and mature saturation?

Heresy!...

What's this world coming to...
