Here is a great video (really encourage you to watch the whole thing) showing the lensbaby in action with a 1D. [lensbaby use comes in at 2:30]

Lensbaby is like freelensing (taking the lens off your mount and hovering it over the sensor/mount to achieve dreamy like focus) but the lens baby has a mount which makes it easier to control.
