What filter do you have? I am going to Grand Canyon & surrounding areas for my first photo shoot. I want to modify my old camera for IR. Is anyone doing Full Spectrum filter?

I know that basic IR in B&W would look sick in Grand Canyon and anything similar from the examples of IR photography I've seen. I also like the surreal look of some semi color IR pictures.

It's a decision of personal taste. I've had two converted by LP and both were the standard B&W conversions. I personally don't like the false color IRs, some people do. Get the conversion to produce the image you like the most and will be using the camera for the most.

I am contemplating converting my 50D. I am thinking about their super color filter as it seems to have many possibilities in post. You have watched the vids on their site, I assume?

I went with the standard B/W from Lifepixel a few years ago. Personally, I think the false color IR images look as terrible as bad HDR images. But, whatever floats one's boat, as they say.
