Sorry guys, have been extremely busy of late, so not much time for browsing forums. Thought I had better get to it, and post something aussie!.

Given their names one would expect them to differ only in their colouring, but these two seem to have nothing in common! Both great looking birds though, Tina, and well captured.

Looks like the "honeyeater" is more interested in the "honeybee." Your images are always so unique, interesting and well composed and these are no exception... lovely shots.

Great shots Tina, exactly why I like this forum, rare birds which I'll never see, photographed in great detail :)

Fascinating and beautiful "aussie" stuff Tina!
Love the recurved bill on these guys, and the Blue-faced also has such interesting markings. Your timing on the 2nd image couldn't have been any better either. All 3 are wonderful captures, but I think the 3rd is my favorite.
What kind of plant is that they're perched on?

Excellent set Tina, impressive IQ through out but #1 is my favorite, what a look, has that mean almost like one of Grackles look. Glad to see you are lugging Huey around still, Well done!

Very nice Tina. A great looking pair of birds on a unique perch. Great shooting.
