I took my new 5d mkIII out to shoot my daughter's race at the local park today. While we were waiting I saw a goose fly over. I was already in Servo so I thought I give it a go. Here are few in the series along with a very heavy crop. As you can see, even when it flew in front on the tree, there was no problem tracking it. Click the shots to go to my site and see the full size.

All the shots were in focus. I am pretty happy.

That's pretty far away, most cameras wouldn't have a problem with that. From what I have heard the AF is great, this is just not the best example.

I presume your other 2 bodies could also have achieved the same result?

Yep, but not sure if my old 5d mkII could have. And that's really the point.
