I bet it's no better then a monopod, while it may "hover" it wouldn't be very stable at all.

Is this a joke? I can't tell. If it isn't, I would get one. Not to use as a tripod, but rather a display for my desk! I just can't imagine this being balanced with my little rebel and a larger lens like my macro.
