The bear and cat faces are priceless!

Very nice. I love the lions feeding and the hippo.

great set! love 2 and 8. how's the AF on that camera? did you notice any quicker than normal battery drain?

Thanks.

I shot mostly static subjects or very slow moving and I think focus worked great. I used center expanded and case 1. I did try a couple shots for birds in fligth in case 5 but my own tracking of the birds sucked so did not get anything in focus, definately not the cameras fault. I need more practice for that.

As for battery. I just checked the battery info. I had 3 old batteries from my 5D2 and its one of those that I put in when I got the camera on tuesday so it migth not be a top performing battery. Anyway with 29% left I have shot 729 images. Given that with a new AF system and options lcd use has been higher than normal I think. So overall I don't think battery drain is worse than it would have been on a 5D2 under the same conditions. I think my normal use of 5D2 gave me around 1500-2000 shots pr charge.

great series, good exercise with the MK3 with remarkable results, no 6 is very deep.
