Last night I had a dinner party at the house, so I did no planning or setting up for my early morning planned shoot. I did some planning online the day before.

I get up on time (5am) and am very happy I did, especially after last night's party.

I take my backpack and quietly sneak out the door. I drive to the location, I am there before sunrise and all seems very good. 8-)

I open my pack - my 5DIII is not in it - Damn, I take my 7D out saying things I shouldn't be saying, but who can hear me anyway. Dam, the 7D battery is on very, very low charge Dam!.
I take out my s95 - yeah, it has a charge and card. I am at a falls, and it is loud. I am focusing on my plan of attack - it is drastically changed, and as it gets lighter, the cloud cover is thick and not clear as the online Weather Channel had predicted. All of a sudden I hear chanting...along comes this religious group and they are starting to pray right where I want to shoot....argggggggggh.
Well, I was on the verge of leaving and decided to stay a little. I shoot with the s95 and take some shots and a couple of very short videos. I hope a few come out okay, even a little okay.
The best part of this shoot - I am home early and my wife is very happy about "Clamity Pierre" :D

just a few of my thoughts...
Pierre

I just swapped out my computer for a new computer. I spent some time loading the software and moving LR4 over.
I quickly glanced at the images I shot with the s95. They do not compare to my other cameras, but I do have something. I may 'paint' them or something creative; there is a lot of noise in them, and the haze/atmosphere moisture is quite heavy.

just a few of my thoughts...

I can walk to the edge of the woods, birds everywhere. Go inside and get the camera, birds no where.
